stear clear of Party Cape Cod!!!

I am fuming right now and I do not usually let things get to me. I went to party cape cod the begining of May and worked with a pleasant girl who showed me fabrics and gave me a price quote for the items I would need to rent for my island wedding. I stressed to her the importance of picking these items up on the thursday before the wedding as everyone is going to the island first thing friday morning. So I go there this morning to pay-in full which is weird, but they demand-and this other woman was beyond rude. She basically told me I couldn't pick the items up thursday, she couldn't "guarantee" it. Umm, the wedding is over 3 months away!? I even would pay extra, seriously.....but she didn't even offer to look into it or anything. So I walked out. I just wanted to warn others, this woman was just so rude.....ughhh

Because of the way the fog rolls over the island, they would HAVE to be there the night before just in case they are not running flights to and from ACK airport! JEsus!!!

if the rude lady isn't management, you should let management know how she represents their company and how she costs them business - if they don't know, it could really hurt them. And this is a satisfying way to make your complaint - you're telling them for the greater good of the company.

Yes, I think I am going to. The items were for pick up, it wasn't like I expected them to deliver an extra day early or wnything....ugh. Thanks

I'm so sorry that happened to you! That is awful! Good luck - I would call management and explain what happened. Do not tolerate anything less than what you want - I'm sure you are paying a lot of money - you should get what you want! Good luck!!

We also had a problem with Party Cape Cod. The owner to be specific was rude. Good luck and yes stear clear.

Stear VERY CLEAR of PArty Cape Cod! all thsi talk about being number one when they are full of rude people who dont stay very long. one of my bridesmaids was working there for a short time and she had NOTHING but trouble. They started her saying she was training in a mangement positon n the pay was less n she has experience in events. She was then not paid a raise when she was suppose to be done this supposed training n ended up seeing an add for a manager posted to craiglist and was so angry she confronted the lady n it was denied and blah blah blah. plus they didn't pay her correctly, held driving money from her and ultimately ended up talking them to court and they settled for an amount. Not to mention withheld her w2 form even after plenty of attempts via telephone and email. That place is rediculious!!!! If this is anyway how they treat their employees then I can only imagine what could happen with wedding planning. I give them a big fat F!!! Im sorry you had to deal with this but they have issues with their attitudes and it doesn't look like it's improved any since last summer.
