Plus size shops in Michigan

Hi All, 

I really want to be able to try on dresses instead of looking at size 6 samples on a hanger. Does anyone have any suggestions for shops that carry plus size samples?

    Bombshell Bridal in St. Clair Shores! They are pretty exclusively plus size so they have ALL their dresses in plus size samples. GL

    BOMBSHELL!!!! they are awsome!! they give a wonderful expierence, you have there full attention while you are there and they make you feel so great about yourself!! totally worth the trip!

    There is a store called bombshell bridal boutique in I believe st Claire shores that specializes in plus size so all their sample sizes are plus size too.

    There are tons at Davids. I am plus size and was nervous about going there and not being able to try any on and I was wrong. There are many dresses in everysize.

    I went to Davids Bridal and Bombshell. I preferred Bombshell better because ALL of their sample sizes are plus size. Good luck!

    Check out Something Blue in Holly! They carry mostly plus size dresses. The shop is not overwhelming like most, it is comfortable and quaint. Plus they have very affordable dresses. Can you tell I love them?!

    Another vote for Bombshell Bridal - so far they've been my favorite vendor to work with :)

    For another perspective, I did also have a good experience at Alfred Angelo, though I don't know if a signature store is anywhere near Detroit (I went to the one out here in Grand Rapids).

    I seriously think if you go to Bombshell Bridal though you'll find your dress.

    Omg! I read everything you all said about bombshell. I went there today, and seriously, it was the only time i've actually felt like i was being treated well, and not just as a bride who gets shoved into a sample size i can fit in. It was absolutely amazing. 

    My vote is for Bombshell. And if you happen to lose weight, they will order in ANY size.

    I'm glad you had fun! I felt the same way when I went. I ended up going with an Alfred Angelo dress that they didn't carry (that I had to try on in a way-too-small size at another store, lol), so I try to plug them as much as possible, cuz I think they deserve it.
