To ask a friend who just got married 2 weeks ago, to help plan my wedding for next oct. I know she would help, but just wondering how long to wait before I ask her to help.

    I say do it now!!  She will have all kinds of advice that will still be fresh and you could possibly buy some of her stuff (a big help to her to get rid of it and a big help to you to get it cheaper)

    I would have loved to help plan another wedding after mine... I was still on a wedding high and also sad that it was over.  I became obsessed with my friend's wedding to help ease the "bridal blues" I was going through.  :)
