Opinions please! - DIY project

I'm making wreaths as part of my ceremony decor and I'm not sure which way I like them better. My colors are red/black/white. I'd appreciate any thoughts/opinions you have. Thanks!

Inspiration (mine won't hang on pews, they'll go on the inside doors of the church):

White with black:

White with red:

Just plain:

The white/black one would likely get red ribbon somewhere on it and the white/red would likely get black ribbon somewhere. Not sure what I'd do with the plain, maybe leave it as is.

Plain!  I love the simplicity of the just white... very classy and classic!

I agree! I like the white & dressing it with ribbon.

Thanks ladies! I'm partial to the plain too, but was trying to see if I could finagle something to look more like the inspiration.

If you were trying to make it look a little more like the inspiration, I would randomly space out the bulbs, putting some on the sides, etc. just like how they are in the inspiration.  Or, try using white or silver-ish bulbs, so that they blend in a bit more.

I have to agree with the plain white as being my fav...the black and white as a close second.  I'm not partial to the one with the red in it only because it reminds me of a holiday wreath.  The plain white one is really classic and would look beautiful on the doors!

    I also love the plain.

But if you really wanted to get some of your colors in there beyond just ribbon, I'd consider buying a couple of sizes of bulbs in black, red and a pearly white that are a good bit smaller and then spacing them sporadically throughout the front/sides of the wreath, even in little clusters like in the inspiration picture.

This is what I was originally going to do, but I couldn't quite find exactly what I was looking for in sizes that would look proportional. :-/

I like the plain one too. I had troubles with trying to incorporate my wedding colors with my DIY white flowers also (my colors are just black/white) and I ended up taking small pieces of black tulle, folding it in half so it's like one bow and pinning it randomly in between the flowers. Maybe that's something to think about with the red/black? You could do that with ribbon too?

That's a good idea about the ribbon/tulle. I have quite a bit of ribbon. I'll have to see what I can come up with.
