These weekly flames are so great

It feels like a weight is lifted off my shoulders each time, and it feels so good to get it out there without having to think about being judged or having to go into a huge discussion about it!

Today I flame my university AGAIN for deciding last minute that I will have my 2 PhD exams on monday giving me 4 days to prepare for some of the biggest exams of my life...
I also flame my brother who still hasnt managed to finish the monogram and I need it to finish the invitations!
I also flame myself a bit today cause I had one too many glasses of wine yesterday at the department christmas party and thus am enjoying a lovely headache and all over lousy feeling today which doesnt go too well with the studying....
I also flame the annyoing wedding dress sales people in this town who keep calling me to get me to buy my dress at their shops.. I started saving their numbers now so I know who is calling so I can avoid picking up the phone. Wish they would understand that buying a dress is a big decision and I won't just buy a random dress...

Siriko - Good Luck with your exams!! Sucks you have two on Monday! Hope they go well and you can enjoy the holidays stress free. Also, I can't believe bridal shops are calling you to pressure you into buying from them. I have nevery heard this happen. Very annoying! It would turn me off completely from buying from them.

I don't have any WR flames to throw today. However, our condo has been doing work in all the units with the plumbing. For the last two weeks we've had GIANT holes in our walls. Well this weel they finally patched them up but we found out they aren't painting. Most of the units in our building are owned but we are renting our. Well I have no idea if our landlord even knows of the work that's been going on and now I have to let them know FYI the condo corp openned huge holes in our walls and now are not painting them. GRRRR..... This should be interesting. Thank God we kept all correspondance from the Condo Corp, so the landlord can see that we are not responsible for these holes therefore should not be responsible for painting them. But Good Grief. What a Pain!

I flame work because I always do. One more week and then I get to go on vacation!

I flame the car dealership where I bought my car for losing the title and misinforming me about it (they made it seem like they never had it). I'm picking up my new car today with dealer plates and I'll bring it back next week to get mine put on once the title gets there from out of state. Lovely.

I'm flaming being an adult/homeowner. Last night right before bed our microwave bit the dust, filling the house with a horrible burning smell. I was so freaked out that the thing was going to start a fire that I could barely sleep. It is an over-the-range kind, so of course, twice as much as a "normal" one to replace. Guess FI and I are getting each other a new microwave for Christmas....

I'll also flame finals. I have one more exam that was supposed to be multiple choice and turned into a 5-8 page essay exam. So that will be my weekend. I did just turn in my last real paper, though, so yay for that!

No WR flames this week... I've been too busy to think about the wedding! I guess that is a flame in itself.

I flame my FI because since I have been lookjng forward to thos day off, I just eanted one day to sleep in! It's kind of weird but a lot of nights i prefer to sleep by myself so i sleep on the couch I think it eoild be even weirder to sleep in the guest bedroom haha Anyway I mentioned last night that he better not wake me up in the morning... but he did! He couldnt figure out if his shirt pants were blue or black so i had to go upstairs to help him pick out a matching pair of pants and a blazer and tie. Haha It was kinda cute to see him nervous though. He has a company outing with the cfo and ceo and all those type at a highly exclusive country club today... fun! Lol I also flame that my boss has already called and texted me today to ask how to post a check... i hate when he attempts to do my job! Ust wait till Monday cuz I always have to redo something!!! UGHHH

I flame the girl I work for. She designs her own line of clothing and makes it in-store, and I work in the salon she put in the back of the shop. She always makes comments about my size, even though I think I'm an average sized girl. She made a comment one day about how she had made an extra Large-sized top for me in a style I liked, even though I wear a medium. Yesterday, I tried on a pair of pants, and fit into a small-sized pair. I asked her how they looked, and she said fine, until I told her they were a small. Then she backtracked, and said "well, I wear a small!" then told me while they look fine from the front, in the back they look too tight across my butt and how they were going to cut into my sides.

As she's saying this I'm thinking "Eff you!" in my head, but don't say anything. She is like this with customers sometimes too! She says, "well someone your age shouldn't wear that..." She is just obsessed with working out and losing weight. I don't have a problem with my body, I go to the gym (not as much as I SHOULD, but I still go!) and try to eat healthy. I have my self-conscious days, as everyone does, but I HATE that she is making me feel bad about myself!

What a "See you next tuesday"!!!!!! Some people are just so miserable they have to cut others down. Try to let it slide off your shoulders. She sounds like a very unhappy person.

My flame for this week is the fact that I've been so busy that I haven't decorated for Christmas at all yet! Nothing. I still have some Fall Decor up. I need to get my sh*t together and get the tree up Sunday!

I need to Auntie brag for a moment....
