Hello!
This is my first post on this board, but I've been looking around at other posts and it seems like all of you have wonderful ideas!
My fiance and I relocated to the area about a year ago so we're still trying to learn about all that the Dallas area has to offer. We are planning a small, 30-40 guest, wedding. We are planning to get married at the Bella Donna Chapel in McKinney and then have a private party at a nice resturant instead of a reception. I have only found a few resturants (III Forks & Maggianos) that offer private party packages and hoping that you allcan help me come of with a few other options. Being that the majority of our guests are coming in from out of town I don't want to have them drive too far from the ceremony location.
Any suggestions/recommendations are greatly appreciated!!

I do know that several Knotties have had their RD's at various Blue Mesa's so that's another choice.
[QUOTE]Thank you all for your suggestions! I'm so glad to hear the positive comments about Maggianos since that is currently our first choice!

Clappity! Clappity!!!!
My parents had never eaten there before we put our money down and, after the wedding, my dad said that, while he loved the wedding and everything else, having the reception at Maggiano's was the best money he spent on our wedding.
[QUOTE]Juliebug...Any suggestions as far as food choices? There are soooo many options!

We did "The Big Wedding" so we got lots of choices:
fried zucchini and fried mozzarella (so good, both of them!)
Maggiano's salad and Caesar salad
fettucini alfredo and baked ziti
chicken parm and beef tenderloin (it was extra but worth it!)
lemon cookies (since we had cake too); they are the best lemon cookies ever!!!!
