What did you choose?

Just curious what songs people are choosing to walk down the aisle to? I'm at a loss! I know that I don't want "Here comes the Bride" and I'm thinking Cannon D but I know a lot of people do that also. So, I thought I would see what every one else is doing.

And who would be playing the music for you? I'm thinking live music but I'm sure the selection would be minimal.

We are having Hebrew songs, Dodi Li and Erev Shel Shoshanim, for the processional. FI has a college friend that is a very good cellist, and we asked her to play at the ceremony. I've found versions of both songs on youtube that I think will work well for cello, so hopefully she will be able to put something together.

I haven't decided yet. I won't have live music, it will be pre-recorded and I'm using music from Vitamin String Quartet for everything.

You've Got a Friend by James Taylor :-) I wanted it to be our wedding song but FI talked me into something different (and happily so). It summarizes our relationship perfectly though - more than anything, FI is my best friend in the world.

well I am walking to Cannon in D. Its such a beatiful song

though parents, groomsmen, and my girls are walking to shadow of the day linkin park covered by Vitimin string quartet (shadow of the day is sort of my FI and I's song though the lyrics arent really super wedding appropriate)

I used Canon in D. I know it's super popular, but I chose it because it was a song I grew up dancing ballet to, and have always loved it. We had the church organist as our only music option, so I didn't have much leeway in my choices either.

I am debating between an instrumental version of In My Life by the Beatles or Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Israel. I know that last song is a big debate with some people, but I think it's beautiful and I have always loved it.
