Was wanting some suggestions on music for the big day (father/daughter dance, Mother/Son dance, bride/groom first dance etc.) all input would be appreciated :) Thanks in advance Laughing

    I haven't figured out the father/daugher or mother/son thing yet either- I'm interested in what other people suggest.  We do know what we want our first dance to be though- Fly Me to the Moon by Frank Sinatra.  It is a little less traditional but it's upbeat and fun.  We wanted something sweet and romantic that won't put our guests to sleep!

    Apparently us VA brides are too busy recovering from the earthquake & getting ready for Irene!!  Maybe post in another board?  I'm really at a loss about the father/daughter song... I was interested to see other suggestions as well.  Oh well- batten down the hatches & be safe this weeeknd!

    Hi! For our first dance it's either gonna be "Someone Like You" by Van Morrison or "Like a Star" by Corinne Bailey Rae.  For father/daughter it's either gonna be "In My Life" by the Beatles or "Oh Boy" by Duffy.  Not the usual choices, but all have special meaning!  Good luck!
