October 2010 Wedding around the Seaside, FL area -- HELP :)

Hi Ladies,

I am newly engaged and kind of lost at the moment.  I hope I am posting on the correct message board.  I am trying to plan a wedding & reception with about 75 people in the Seaside Beach area in October 2010.  I am open to the Seagrove Beach, Rosemary Beach & Grayton Beach area as well...

Can someone point me in the right direction as far as possible wedding ceremony venues and reception venues in that area?  I am interested in indoor or outdoor venues.

    Hi Mrs. Shapard,


    Congrats!  I'm not a frequent contributor here, but your post caught my eye.  I'm getting married in Jax, but I vacation frequently in Seaside.  We're also honeymooning there!

    You probably already know this, but Seaside will arrange weddings at their non-denomenational chapel or one of the pavilion walkways to the gulf.  I've seen a few wedding receptions passing by and they look like so much fun!  Think heavy appetizers, light cocktails, steel drums...beautiful!  I believe Bud and Alley's is a popular spot for receptions, too...

    The folks here have GREAT  ideas, I'm sure you'll find help here!
