Hello Ladies!!
I am a former SJ knottie but I just wanted to stop by to deliver what I consider to be a fantastic vendor. I know a lot girls are using or already considering using Martin's Video and I can't recommend them enough.
From my original reviews, they received an A+ to begin with. Good with correspondence before, during, and after my wedding day. Punctual, friendly, barely noticed the videographer on the day of, and he even helped the photographer with little details and things while we were taking pictures in between the ceremony and reception. Just overall great and so pleased with their service.
Then I got the video, and my satisfaction just grew. The video is WONDERFUL, and my recap is perfect, everything I thought it should be. Plus, my video was ready in a speedy 6 weeks!!
Fast forward to now. There is a piece of my reception missing from the video (an informal, unplanned dance with my grandfather to Robert Palmer's "Simply Irresistible.") I emailed him concerning it trying to figure out if it was edited from the final video, or maybe it just wasn't captured? Well, the detailed response I received from John, the owner, about what could have happened, and our possible options to resolve the situation was such a delightful surprise.
Even though they were nothing but professional and helpful the whole time leading up to the wedding and until I got my video, a tiny part of me was afraid that because I was paid in full and have had my video for a couple months, they were going to be like, we don't know and we don't know what to tell you. But that isn't the case at all. He said if the dance can be located on the raw footage, the final copy can be re-done to showcase it!
Whether or not the dance was captured is a crap shoot, but I feel that Martin's Video is really going above and beyond all expectations to make sure I'm happy with my final product.
So, I know this was ridiculous longwinded and I apologize for that, but anyone who is on the fence about Martin's, they are 500% worth every penny! The fact that they are still trying to please me, when they already have my money and could have basically said I'm sh!t out of luck speaks volumes of their business practices.
HTH anyone still in the market for a videographer!! Happy planning to all you new brides out there. :-)
