I used Ball N Chain Photography out of Raleigh..but they came to the beach for me. They are really reasonable. I think their smallest package is $1600 but they are AMAZING and worth every single penny!!

I always suggest Fort Mill Photography when anybody ask. Wonderful people to work with and they are very knowledgeable about the Fort Mill/Charlotte area and great places to take pictures. If you want rustic, I would suggest The Greenway in Fort Mill.

We are using Whitney Photography which is out of Charlotte. They do photojournalism (pictures in the moment) They are a husband and wife team (which means you get them and no other photographers unlike other companies who may send out an assistant instead). www.whitneyphoto.com

All their packages are unlimited time!! Their cheapest package is $1,995- which includes 1 photographer, 20 page album (albums are AMAZING by the way), low resolution proof CD. Their middle package (I'm going with this one) is $2,695. It includes 1 photographer, 30 page album, engagement or bridal portrait session, 16x20 portrait print, DVD images so that you can print as many copies as you want, copyright permission, and website gallery for guests to view. If you want 2 photographers it is $400 extra.

Cheyenne Schultz is my favorite in the Charlotte area. If she is out of your price range, ask her if she knows anyone that has her same style that is in a lower price bracket. Many people try to shoot and learn from her.

I am currently looking for wedding photographers as well. I have lots of friends that I grew up with that are now into photography. One girl who was like a sister to me does a fabulous job. She does just engagement photographs for $200. However if you decide to do wedding and engagements with her, she does engagements for free. Her full package includes Full day of shooting on your wedding day. Complimentary Engagement photographers. Unlimited digital images, and DVDS of all high-resoultion pictures with a full printing release. However it is extra for bridal portraits. Rehearsal and rehearsal dinner coverage. Slideshows. Canvas wraps and albums. Her Total price comes to $950 without any add ons. With a $200 deposit being due at time of booking. Is this a good price? I want to get the best price and not sacrifice quality, I know she has terrific quality. Should I keep looking or go with her?
