Ordained?

I would like for my sister to marry my fiance and I.  I am still a little confused on how to do this.  I had her get ordained so that's already done however, she lives in North Caroline and we are getting married in Wisconsin.  I heard since she is out of state she would have to be sponsored. Does anyone know exactly how I would do that?  Also, she is an army wife and I guess her legal residency is still Wisconsin.  So I am not sure if she needs to be sponsored or not...?

    Hi, we're going through this ourselves as we are out-of-state residents getting married in WI by an out-of-state officiant.

    First, you sister can get ordained through the Universal Life Ministry church..it's online and it is immediate.  It does take a couple weeks to get the letter of sponsorship though.  Here is the link to the WI sponsorship info:

    PP pretty much hit the nail on the head. We had a close friend ordained to marry us. Since she lives in Las Vegas, she had to get ordained there and then get a sponsor through the Universal Life Minisrty Chruch. She said it was super easy. All we had to do was send in the letter with all the marriage paperwork.

    So I just talked to my sister... She used her WI address and she has a WI Drivers License... So she wouldn't need to be sponsored correct??
