I would like to walk down the aisle to Ave Maria. Has anyone else used a specific version of this song that you would recommend? There are so many versions from Beyonce's to Bach's. I prefer a version with vocals (not Beyonce). =-)

    There are two traditional versions I know of... Schubert's version and Gounod's version. Both very beautiful but Schubert is more well known.

    Do you want a professional version to pipe through on an iPod or something?

    Schubert's is often used at Christmas (not that you can't use it at your wedding of course).  Personally I'd prefer Gounod's if it were my wedding.

    Versions that I know of that are done by good people:
    Celine Dion (Schubert)
    Josh Groban (Schubert)
    Andrea Bocelli (Gounod)
    Cecilia Bartoli (Gounod)

    There's also a Mascagni version by Andrea Bocelli.  Definitely less well-known.
