Boudoir Pics...

So I already have a photographer who is doing my B Pics but I wasn't sure if any of you had some suggestions as far as outfits/lingerie etc...I know i want to find some hot heels but besides that, I'm not sure...want to get some cool accessories....I'm going to rent a room at a hotel and do it there..

    Look at the Palomar for cool hotel rooms... I would hit up H&M for accessories like that. Fredricks of Hollywood online has cheap but fairly slutty lingerie!! HTH!

    I wanted to do that myself. When are you planning on doing this? Before the wedding? When are you giving the album to him? Before or after the wedding? Sorry so many questions. I am pretty modest, so I will probably be very self-conscious and vulnerable feeling at first. I have had two friends do it for their husbands, and they looked AMAZING! Classy, not the least bit slutty or trashy. Soft lighting. She even wore the button up colored shirt her husband proposed to her in...unbuttoned and nothing else with it, of course ;)

    When I finally get to do my B-pics I was thinking something with pearls and black lace panties. I would also want more than just that of course, but I haven't thought of it that far in advance. I would take the pictures before the wedding, and give him the album during the honeymoon! :)

    Yes, I'm doing them before the wedding ( a while before) so he has no clue and then I'm going to have my photographer do an album (although she give me rights to all the images on a disc) and then I'm going to give it to him before the wedding i think as his wedding gift....I'm pretty modest too but my photographer is fantastic - she makes me feel like i've known her for years - she is just so easy to talk to and is younger so I feel like i connect with her better than some people I spoke to.Yes the unbuttoned shirt sounds sexy!!! I think it you have the right locationa nd have someone that makes you feel comfortable like my photographer does with me, then it will be fun!!! I also like that she suggested I bring photos of things I like so she can be sure to create the feel I want...

    Well, there are so many ideas you can go with.  I think my more common requests these days are more around retro pinup then traditional boudoir.  But you want the basics.

    Lingerie, Mens dress shirt, great stockings, your jewerly.  Yes a strand of perls is nice, but any boudoir photographer will have that along with long gloves, hats, wraps, and assorted faux furs and farbics to pose on and with.

    You need a few props as well, depending on modesty requirments.  Consider some fans or parasols.

    Overall it should be about your persoanlaity, and a little of his.  Does he like sports, can you steal a short, hat. ball or whatever?

    Is or was he in the military, how about some camo panties?

    I could go on but I hope that gets you thinking of ideas.

    If I may suggest for the modest, consider adding it to a party with your girlfriends.  I do a lot of my shoots that way.  Potentially you and your half of the bridal party could all get it done and provide some moral support to each other.  Also please keep in mind that it doesn't have to involve nudity, one of the reason I get so much retro pinup is it was mostly all about clevage and leg :)
