Social Security office in Bergen County

I was just wondering if anyone went to the SS office (for name changes) in Bergen county recently. I looked on line & there are 2 addresses but only 1 national phone number to call.

Need to know for sure if it's on Sussex St or Hackensack Ave.

    Why don't you just call them and ask? You'd get an answer much quicker.

    Thanks but I did that & just got a recording - it's the same number for both places, hence my confusion.

    I find it pretty funny that you give me the advice, "I'm sure there are more important things to focus on in life," but then lurk and seek opportunities to post snarky comments to ppl that really are not helpful at all.

    I'll try more digging but thought posting here on the NJ board might be better since I'm sure others have had to go to a SS office in Bergen county, lol.

    The local offices don't have their own numbers, you can only call the 800 number.  I looked online at the official social security web site and the address listed is CONTINENTAL PLZ 2FL

    I was not trying to be "snarky". She didn't mention she had tried calling them already, and I thought it would be easier and quicker than waiting for a response here!
