Hi All,
We are starting to look for a destination for our February '12 honeymoon. Does anyone have advice on either the safest destination sights in the caribbean (or islands we should definietly avoid!)? I have been doing a lot of research on government sites, but I would love to get advice based on people's experiences. We know that with any travel you need to be cautious, but I want to try to find the safest spot possible. Some places we are thinking are: St. Lucia, Jamacia, Bahama, Puerto Rico, Anguilla, and Turks & Caicos. We will be going with an all-inclusive resort.

Just travel smart.

<div>Ditto this. We were just on a cruise and had absolutely zero issues walking around Curacao, Aruba, St. Thomas or San Juan, PR. We felt completely safe and secure.</div>

[QUOTE]If you go to an AI and you're worried about island safety, just stay at the resort. If you want to wander in the island, book an excursion with your hotel that will offer a guide as well.
