PLASE HELP! (transportation)

 Hey Knotties,
   I need HELP! I'm getting married in Nags Head in August. I need to find a way to get my father there from Richmond, VA. We live in Raleigh, so we will be unable to get him and he does not have a car. Money is a big issue, so I cant get him a taxi service all the way there. I was trying to find a bus or train station near the outer banks with no luck. Does anyone know of a train or bus station close to the outer banks? PLEASE HELP! Thanks Knotties! -Sam

    I know in the past there was a bus that came into Whale Bone Junction. If he could get to Virginia Beach then he would only be an hour away. Maybe somebody could go get him. I know there are buses from Richmond to Norfolk and I think a train also.

    I would probably have him take a bus or train to Norfolk and have someone pick him up from there, like PP suggested.  Norfolk is about 45mins to an hour from OBX, depending on the traffic and time of day.

    I'm pretty sure there is a bus station in rocky mount, which you pass through from Raleigh to obx.
