Welcome Reception Update

My family really caught me off guard -- in a good way!

We originally planned on having a welcome reception for all guests of the wedding (approx. 150 though I didn't expect them all to attend) at Circles Restaurant under their tiki tent. We really wanted a laid-back, waterfront atmosphere to welcome our guests (especially's FI's family) to Florida and actually get time to talk to everyone!

Well, I was just talking to my grandparents and they really want to contribute to the wedding. They're avid fishermen (fishers? LOL) and they usually give away most of their catch. But for the past few months (and the remaining 6 months until my wedding), they've been saving all of the catch to throw us a huge fish fry at my parent's house! We'll just need some sides for the meal, beer/liquor, tables & chairs (which I'm hoping we can borrow from friends), and maybe a tent for shade.

Granted, I'm a bit worried that it might get a bit cramped but I'm envisioning more casual mix & mingle atmosphere rather than a sit-down. People can come & go as they choose. My parents have a good sized home with a pool, yard and lake-front space.

What do you think?  Too much?
