Wedding Flowers

So i'm wondering whats a reasonable amount to spend on flowers/decor for your ceremony and reception? I'm looklng to have at 17 tall vase centerpieces, i will have roses, carnations, and greenery, 6 bm, 6gm, 2fg, 1 ring boy and 4 parents 1 grandma.......im thinking $1,900 would be a good number. Help please!

    I have 1 bridal bouquet (orchids mostly), 4 bridesmaids bouquets (all orchids), 5 grooms boutineers, 10 centerpieces with branches and orchids, 6 other crosages (grandparents etc...) and it all came in just under $1000.  I'd say your budget would be PLENTY but I guess it depends on what you want and how big.  I also found a cheap but fantastic florist that worked har to stay within my budget.  Try Vicki with Peddles Florist...she will be sure to give you everything you want at an amazing price!  Good luck!

    I used Publix believe it or not - didn't have them do centerpieces but they can do anything a florist can do & custom order ANYTHING. Only some Publix's have complete floral centers though. I had 5 BM bouquets, my bouquet, 10 boutineers, 8 coursages, and a flower girl basket all for only a little over $200!

    I never new about Publix! wow! thats really good. Ill go ahead and check out flowers by Lesley too.  Budget is always the issue but hopefully it all works out. Thanks ladies for the input!.

    I'm Vicky also and what was great about her is she didn't make me feel bad about doing a lot of my centerpieces myself. She was really willing to work with my ideas and my budget and I thought she was very reasonable for what I'm getting. I'll let you know soon how they turn out, wedding is next saturday!
