Bridesmaid flower idea...

Has anyone tried having their bridesmaids carry a single flower rather than making more bouquets? I'd like to try that to save money but I was wondering how that would look and what people think of it.

    And if this fits within your theme, I think baby's breath bouquets are very pretty and inexpensive.

    I am probably going to have my bridesmaids carry a single gerbera daisy. I've seen some pictures, and I think it looks fine. I'm not a big fan of big flower bouquets though.

    A lady at my church got married not that long ago and her colors were black red with hints of white. She had her MOH and BM each carry a single red rose with either a small red or white ribbon tied in a simple small bow tied halfway down the stem. It was simple, classic and elegant all at the same time. I thought it looked and fit the whole wedding really well. I thought I had a pic of them standing up front but its a blurry pic. Frown HTH! GL!

    One of my friends from college had her girls carry a single red rose wrapped in a navy blue ribbon. It looked really nice.

    I think it will too just fine. :) I personally want my BM's to carry bouquets, but I think I single flower or a flower with a little bit of greenery will look just fine.
