veils and short hair

I have short hair- chin length, possibly a bit longer by the time the summer rolls around. I most likely will not have enough for a real up-do, though. How do I keep a veil on my head without an up-do to help anchor it in place?

Thanks!

Re: veils and short hair

  • If the comb attached to the veil won't stick in your hair well you could also pull back a very small section of hair with a little braid or barrette to help anchor the veil.

Whoever said it was supposed to be happily ever after is a big fat liar.
  • What about a bird cage veil or a fingertip length veil? Those might stay in better and I think they look adorable with short hair!

  • I was going for a finger-tip or possibly elbow-length veil. I love these suggestions ladies!

  • You could add temporary extensions.

  • Naw, I like my short hair! :-) But thanks for the idea anyway!

  • Another idea would be to see if a veil could be attached to a pretty, thin little headband.  :)

  • You can attach a veil to an elastic backed headband.. as long as it is circular.

I would get a hair appointment and discuss the technicalities, but you won't have any big trouble if you get the right "hardwear " in place prior to the big day... planning is everything  as usual.
    ideas....
