I could not be more happy with how all my wedding plans are coming together. I read a lot of your posts where you have BM's and FMIL's from hell. And i gotta say I have the best BM's ever. I have zero complaints, and while I live in another town from them so have been doing most of my planning myself (with help from FI) they have all offered to come help whenever I need, they did help me do my invites, and everyone will be here the friday before the wedding to decorate. My MOH moved a 4 hour plane ride away nad is coming home next weekend over easter and I have my shower and bachelorette. My girls are really fantastic!
Also, the rest of our family has realised that this is OUR wedding, and OUR day, and although they are helping out with costs, they have let us plan it how we want (realizing that we aren't gonna go crazy with budget or anything).
And, finally! My final RSVP date is a week away, giving me about a week to track people down before I need to hand in numbers to my vendors and I only have about a dozen RSVP's that i'm waiting for! I've heard so many horror stories baout brides having to track down like half their guest list to find out if they're coming or not, and I'm sooo not going to have to do that! It's been great.
Anyway, end brag here. I just realized how freaking lucky I am. And i'm sooo thankful for it!
