Wonderful VA Fall (PIP)

Hello Ladies,

I said in another thread that I was going to post pics from weekend with FI last weekend, so here they are! We went to The Peaks of Otter; it's peak foliage week this week :) In other news, we get our E pics done Saturday (I'm trying to figure out what I want to wear still, the high temp is 60! brr). We also have our first premarital counseling session, which I'm super excited about. We've both taken the Prepare-Enrich assessment this week, and I was even laughing as I filled it out because some of them we are soo different on; it'll be fun! 

I'm going to do another thread about my dress saga. I won't go into that here, but I'm a bit frustrated. 

FI; he's pretty happy that the weather was nice; he's never really spent time on the East Coast in the fall except in FL, so he was sooo loving the colors :)

    Very cute pictures!  Looks like it was a beautiful day for it.  I hope your e-pics are on a day like the one in these pictures.  Can't wait to see the e-pics!

    You guys are very cute! I'm jealous of autumn, I was in New England, Upstate NY, and Penn last year for October, and it was so beautiful.

    spiff- it's supposed to be 60 for our e pics, it was 70 on this day :( Can they photoshop out goosebumps? hahahaha. 

    wish- thanks :) I love it here.

    Irish- I'm in the lynchburg area, if you know where that is... about an hour and a half away from Richmond.

    ftl- I'm sooo not ready for Christmas... except for the fact that by then, the Navy should have told us enough for us to set our wedding date! I texted FI all excited yesterday, since we both like May 19 as a date- it was 7 mos from yesterday!!

    hey that's an exciting reason to be ready for Christmas!!!
    I'm ready for my first Halloween with H (fina-freaking-ly)
    I'm making a Thanksgiving dinner for the first time and for H's crew (yay Pintrest for Thanksgiving decor ideas!!!)
    and I'm ready for Christmas in Chattanooga. And baking cookies.. and everything Christmas really haha...
    I hope May 19 works out for you guys!! That's exciting :) I hope the Navy plays nicely for you. :)
    We just got word that the Navy has paired up with SDSU and UCSD for grad programs for Naval Officers so we are starting to hope that the Navy plays nicely and we get THOSE orders next year. THat would be amaaazing. I love southern California and miss it sooo much! NPS in Monterey would be cool and all, but there is so much more to do in SD!

    It was about 60 degrees when we took ours here.  To be honest, that is ridiculously warm for us. haha so I wasn't complaining.  I also wanted "fall" pictures so it worked out great because I got to wear long sleeves and boots and not be sweating!

    But I guess you'll see how good your photographer is if you can't see the goosebumps in the pictures. haha.  Have fun :)

    I hate you for your beautiful fall weather.  I miss Virginia, I miss seasons.  Fall is my favorite time of year, and we just... don't have it.

    Today is a glorious mid-70 degree day with sunshine and fluffy clouds, so that's a nice change at least!  Once I fully recover from the strained arches in my feet from running on the sand last week barefoot (I know, stupid me), then I'm going to start half marathon training!  Very excited!

    I'm super excited because I just got off the phone with our photographer; I can't wait to see how our shoot goes! :D He has some cool ideas, and We're still bouncing different ideas back and forth for some alternate locations. :D

    That's exciting! and I'm jealous.  I really wish I was running it again this year (it was so much fun) but it's just not possible.  FI's family is going to Disney around that time and they said I could go with if I wanted.  I just can't justify it financially.  I may try to start training for one again and see if there are any locally that I can do.  Good motivation to work out before the wedding.  I'm just worried every half marathon will be so boring in comparison to that race. haha there is so much to look at!
