RSVP envelope in pocketfolds?

So...I just did my first mock-up of my invite and came up with an important question. What do you do with the envelope for your RSVP card?

I got my pocketfolds from papersource, and the RSVP envelopes are just slightly wider than the pocket (just enough so that I can't tuck it in back of the RSVP insert!)

What should I do? I don't want to put it in front and block the tabbing effect of the inserts, but I'm afraid if I put it in back of *all* of the inserts, people may not notice that it's there.

Help!

Re: RSVP envelope in pocketfolds?

  • It should really be in the pocket.  Can you do a smaller RSVP card and envelope?

  • Do the pocketfolds from Cards & Pockets have this issue with the rsvp envelope? I hope not!

  • First, I need to correct myself...it was Paper and More, not Paper Source...

I emailed them, and the response was indeed, that these are the smallest envelopes they sell, and that for this size pocketfold (6.25 square) you have to put them in vertically for them to fit.

    Back to the drawing board!
  • FWIW, I'm putting mine behind all the inserts. They'll have to pull the inserts out to read them anyway, so it's silly to think they won't see the envelope.

  • Excellent point!  I think I may go with doing that...so far, the pocketfolds are the cheapest ones I've seen and they're really nice.
