Wedding Review April 2, 2011

Engaged in November 2010 and married on April 2, 2011 - it can be done in a few months and we couldn't have asked for a better day, vendors, venue etc.  I live in Chicago, but got married in Covington, KY.  The church, reception venue, and hotels were all on Madison Ave in Covington.  This is a great set up for anyone that has out of town guests.

Madison Ave Christian Church - The Madison told us to check it out because some of their brides get married there.   It is beautiful and they are easy to work with.

Rose Trio - Ceremony musicians - loved them.

Reception Venue - The Madison in Covington, KY - LOVED IT!  We had the Grande Ballroom, which is downstairs and secluded.  It's a beautiful venue.  The food and drinks were great, and the staff catered to our every need.

Rehearsal Dinner - Behle Street at the bottom of Embassy Suites.  Sheli catered to all of our needs.  We picked some items off the menu to create our own mini menu and had some yummy deserts.

President's Tuxedo/Skeffingtons in Kenwood, OH -  Very easy to work with and seem to always have $20-$40 off with free groom's tux for 5 or more party.

Affordable Wedding Creations - cake and flowers - This is a small shop in Covington, KY across from The Madison.  They are a great team and VERY reasonable with tasty cake and pretty flowers.  Inge and Peggy are great!

CJ Photography - Christina was GREAT, did I say GREAT, to work with.

Jeff Hill Video - Just as great as Christina and VERY quick turnaround.

Shutterbooth -  Our guests LOVED the photobooth.  We got a special with the scrapbook and frames.  The scrapbook was so nice and you get it when you leave the reception, so it's cool to have an instant reminder of the reception.

DJ/Band - Mike Cobb - friend of mine who has an R&B band and DJ service, he/they brought the house down.  My guests loved the band during cocktail hour and the DJ for the rest of the night.

I think that covers it.  We loved our day.

Sounds like you had a wonderful day! Thank you for sharing your reviews. Do you mind if I ask how much the Shutterbooth photobooth was and how many hours you had it? Thank you.

We got a special because they were trying to secure dates by the end of 2010.  We had to pay $995 in full for 4 hours, a scrapbook, and 100 frames.

Forgot a couple of other vendors/services

Eye do makeup and lash design.com - Crysal is the owner, but I had Kellie.  She does very good work and takes her time with you.

Embassy Suites and Marriot RiverCenter for guest lodging - Good rates and nice to work with.
