New & seeking ideas!

Hello all, so I'm new the knot! I'm getting married in Cleveland, OH on Feb. 12, 2011 (1 year from today). I'm so excited! My theme is winter wonderland with a twist! Does anyone else have a winter wedding? Any ideas for ceremony/reception decorations?

Hi...Congratulations! How about doing a little twist on the new "tree branch" look, get some cool frosted glass vases, fill with those tiny crystals, and spray the twig branches with a textured white paint and then splash them with a hint of spray crystal.  Then hang crystals on them.  complete with a blue (or color of your wedding) LED icecube buried in the crystals inside the vase.  It will glow and you will have a winterland wedding look with the glow on the crystals and branches!
Good Luck! (you could even do metallic thread organza overlays or runners on the tables to accompany! :)

Congratulations!  Our "twist" is going with a very Renaissance feel - but I've heard from a few people that it takes a very specific type of couple to do it.  (apparently we're that couple?  hahaha).

    Anyway, congratulations and welcome!

Thanks everyone for all your wishes! Congrats to you all. The tree branch idea is actually something I was thinking about. I was trying to figure out an inexpensive way to do it and now I have it! I'm so excited. Thanks!
