Ordering invites

I know how far in advance I should send my invitations but how far in advance should I order my invitations? I won't be using a caligrapher to address my invites, my mom and I will be doing that if it makes a difference. Thanks for your advice.

    It really depends on where you are getting your invitations and how many you are purchasing. I had mine made through a local company (Yochi Designs) and it took them one week to get them in from a local printer. I know some can take 4-6 weeks. Good luck!
