My fiance grew up in a Christian family, however I didn't, and have only been Christian for the past four years we've been together, so I"m a little new to the scene. I want to get more involved in our church, and found out that they're having a ministry/bible study for engaged/newlywed couples in their 20's so we are going to start going to that tonight. I thought it would be a great way to socialize with fellow CHristians, make new friends, and grow in my knowledge and relationship with the Lord. However, since this is my first time being a part of a ministry/Bible study, I'm a little nervous (but mostly excited). Since I'm very new to CHristianity, I'm afraid I'll seem stupid to everyone else. I know most CHristians aren't judgemental like that, but I still can't help but be a little nervous.
Has anyone been nervous about joining a ministry before, or been in a similiar situation as I am? Or any words of encouragement would help-I don't want to be so anxious about it!
