    we're just doing the wedding party and then us.. no parents.. I have never seen that before and seems like a LOT of people that aren't necessary.. especially if you are doing a receiving line because they would be in that...

    We're planning to just introduce the wedding party at the beginning of the reception and then acknowledge other family members like the grandparents in a brief "thank you" speech to our guests after the toasts.
