Bachlorette Party - Weird Post

Hello all -

This is a wierd post coming from the bride (me) - about this....
I am going home to get married next month.  MY MOH is NOT from and has never been to the area.  It has been 27 years since I have really spent any time in Miami (since I left for college). Yes, I have been back - but limited.

My MOH reached out to my other BM who lives in Weston (Broward) asking for help.
My MOH pulled down TRIP ADVISOR's restaurant list and is suggesting something very fancy.
My BM (who I have known since age 5) approached me and said those restaurants although lovely are very "fancy smanscey" - I think you would like something a bit more upbeat and fun.

Oy!

BM asked me to give her a few ideas of what I want.  But I am not sure what is still down there.

OK - here is my list..... most of us are in our 40s.....
Need a fun - Miami/FLL style - ocean front restaurant -
fun, relaxed Atmosphere
Love music
I am thinking Soprano's Deuling Piano Bar in FLL --- anyone ever been there
Also - what is Hard Rock like?  Gulfstream  like?

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Eva

  • Hard Rock is a favorite for Bachelorette parties. They have several clubs, restaurants and bars plus if you all want to split it you can stay the night at the hotel.

  • I did my B-Party at harrock and it was a ton of fun. If you want a nice restaurant to have drinks etc before going out YOLO in las olas is nice. I also like Whiskey blue at the W on Ft Lauderdale beach

  • We did the first half of my bach party at the Hard Rock. We went to Bongo's, it was AMAZING. the food was top notch, the decor was great and we had a blast. they also have a rooftop bar that is really pretty at night. We didn't stay for this because my girls had hired a belly dancing teacher at the host's house so we left the hardrock early but they said around 11pm there is a dance floor at bongo's with salsa music...have fun!
  • Hard rock. Absolutely agree. I did mine there, my sister did hers there and we hosted a cousin's there. It is amazing and FUUUUUN
