  • The only thing I see that you might want to change is 'half past' to half after because half past is used for funerals.

  • I agree with PP about the half past vs half after. That's such a pretty font!

  • I would put the time, including the change above, on it's own line.  I love the quote and cute touches!

  • its also "two thousand twelve" not "two thousand and twelve", the and signifies a decimal point
  • Check and check. Thanks gals!

  • Technically the phrase "honour of your presence" is only used for weddings that take place in a place of worship (church, temple, etc).  More proper wording would be "request the pleasure of your company".  Other than that and the things PPs mentioned you're good to go!

I love that you have a saying at the top, but both FI and I read it and I read it as you and your baby. I love it, I just thought I should mention it.

  • Yeah, I read the quote in relation to a mother and child, not to a couple.

  • It look nice a few corrections as mention earlier the year and style of mentioning time.
  • I agree with the changes PPs mentioned. Otherwise, the formatting looks nice.

I also have to agree with PPs about the quote. I think it's a little strange for a wedding invitation. It does seem to refer to a parent-child relationship rather than a couple. Also, it mentions physical distance from the other person, which isn't all that relevant unless one of you will be spending significant time away.

  • I think it looks pretty good, although I agree with PP's on the couple of changes. And, I also read it as a mother/child quote.

  • Yup. I never thought of it that way but you're right. I hate that there have been so many songs or poems in the past that we would hear and say "That's us!" but when you need to think of one they're no where in sight.
