I hate my gown

I am very uncomfortable in it, and self-conscious.  It is a beautiful gown, but the back is very low and I feel flabby and yucky in it!!  What to do???  I shrug won't work, because it's so low....AND the wedding is 21 days from today.  HELP!!!

my back is very low too and I am starting to feel like it is a pain to alter, but I still love it...is yours a Lazaro by any chance?
Can your seamstress do or add anything to the dress to make you love it? Do you have any pics of it so we can encourage you?

If none of the above works, I see on Say Yes to the Dress all the time people getting dresses when their wedding is like a week away..My seamstress was just telling me they had to sell a sample to a bride whose alterations place completely ruined the gown so anything is possible!

I don't know if it is any help, but I don't think the back of your gown is too low.
And it really is such a beautiful gown!!!

I think that gown is beautiful.  If you are worried about the back being to low talk to your seamstress.  See if you would be able to add material or lace to the back.  It could go straight across before it v's down.  Your seamstress could probably offer you some suggestions.

Where did you get the gown out of curiosity?

Maybe doing some back and shoulder exercises will make you feel better about how you look in the dress?

Thanks ladies....I can take these next three weeks and really focus on arm and back toning, which is what I plan to do.  I'm 49, so I'm defying gravity to some degree!!!

I bought the dress at Jaehee Bridal in Englewood.  I have another fitting on Wednesday, and I will talk to them then.  Alterations are a flat $300, so I doubt they are going to be willing to include anything additional in that.  Plus I think it will have to be re-hemmed cos I went a tad lower on the heel.  Had to!

I love the back!! like PP if you're feeling uncomfortable just do some toning. you'll be gorgeous. and FI will definitely enjoy the sexy (but not scandalous) exposure!

maybe a sheer shawl draped loosely could help if you're still self-conscious?

I like the idea of adding material. It will still keep its style but had a little bit to the back so it's not so low.

    Hey girl,
I'm pretty sure I have a little bit of backfat in my gown too.  Big friggin' deal.  As long as you're comfortable in it and it's not SUPER tight, I'm sure you'll be fine.

    Enjoy your day!
