Venues with easy access to outside?

We are looking for a venue for around 100 people that has some easy access to a nice outside area, whether a porch or grassy area, so people can flow in and out if they want. We don't want a tent. We loved the Smith Barn, but the dates we want are all taken. We also want to keep the whole thing as cheap as possible, so anything more expensive than that is out. Anyone have any ideas?

How much did you want to spend (either per person or total)?

We wouild really like to keep our total costs around 10,000. Anywhere in MA or northern CT would be fine.

I am going with Groveland Fairways.  They have an outdoor patio attached to the ball room and you have use of all grounds for the day.  They were only $1,500 for a Saturday next summer.  There is also three caterers you can use, we are using Affairs Catering and doing it for probably $7,500 for 150 people.  I would give Groveland Fairways a call or email, Liz is really nice but I think is most reachable by email.  She always emails me back very timely.

Check out Stow Acres, in Stow, MA.  It is an old Victorian house with a wrap around porch....prices are pretty reasonable.

If your looking for a hotel kind of wedding. Look into the Double Tree bedford Glen. They have a nice outdoor ,grassy space for pictures. The prices are reasonable since its not to close to the city of Boston. They also give discounts when its on a Sunday or during the Day. Good luck in your search. Stowe Acres is pretty but for some reason we didn't like it. I think it was the room shape can't remember. Try Butternut Farms. Can't remeber where that is located but was very nice for a smaller size wedding.
