What's your budget with or without gratuity, tax, etc. added on?  How many guests are you expecting to have?  Will you be having your ceremony there as well?

This board can be very helpful, but you need to provide details. To add to Peaches questions : What month are you looking to get married in? What day of the week?

    Congrats and welcome!

Also, is your date flexible? Getting married in the late fall and winter months are cheaper than getting married in the spring and summer. As those are peak seasons. Friday night and Sunday afternoons are also cheaper than Saturday nights.

I am looking to get married in November of 2012, don't have a specific date yet. The ceremony will be held at a seperate location, a church in Lakewood or Manalapan. I am trying to keep it below $100 a head with open bar for about 125-150 people and for Saturday evening.

    thanks!

I've been doing research for a Saturday, November of 2011 wedding and the below places all quoted us under 100pp

    Bridgewater manor
    Fiesta Woodridge
    Primavera Stirling
    Westwood Garwood

It takes a bit of googling and a lot of phone calls, but you can definitely find something you love while keeping to your budget!

im doing  may 2012,  and  i  was looking around  for  places   since i have a low  budget as well.  I decided to have it  on my property.  My friend  used rutgers gardens, they were inexpensive there. ps  does  anyone know  where to check  all my posts  and  replies  in one location? (newb)

I am actually having my wedding at Jumping Brook Country Club. They have prices starting at $88 per person including tax and gratuity. Ron has been great to work with thus far. My FI has been the to club's restaurant for other family events and the food is good.

Other places in the Monmouth/Ocean Country area that are reasonable:
    1. Channel Club - Monmouth Beach
    2. English Manor - Ocean
    3. Waterview/Riverview Pavilion - Belmar
