Reception Chairs

I'm battling with what I want and what I can afford. I love love love chiavari chairs, but they are going to cost about $5-6/chair to rent. While that's not a problem, its kind of deemed extra because chair covers annd sashes come with our venue. So should I spend the extra and go with the chiavari?? Or just save my money and do the chair covers and sashes. They both will be gorgeous either way, right??

I'm not the biggest fan of chair covers and sashes. What do the chairs look like without covers?

I read something that said that if you are going to spend money on any extra decoration, it should be the chairs. That's because chairs make a huge impact on a room since there are so many in the room. Just something to chew over!

As usual, I agree with Mel. I'm not a fan of chair covers and sashes but I happen to love chiavari chairs. We are definitely having them at our wedding, even though we can have free white chairs that are provided by our venue. I just think these chairs are so beautiful, they really create a wonderful atmosphere.

That is actually not a bad price. Those chairs here are $10 each, I couldn't justify spending an extra $2000 chairs

. So I am doing Chair covers, I wasn't a big fan of them either however I am only paying $2 each, I attached a picture for you all to see. The chairs at my venue are red and ugly so I definitely needed something to cover them.

I say get um if you can afford them they will make your space look BEAUTFUL!

I have no idea what I am going to do yet. I am waiting on quotes. I know I can not afford to get chairs so its either covers or just leave them as is. Which they are not bad. THey black ballroom chairs with gold trim. But I am hoping to have purple table clothes. Its just hard because I want to add color but budget wise we still have to pick tuxes, get an officiant, decide if we are goign to do up lighting and lots of small things and almost at the limit of our money

I say if your budget allows and you have always envisioned using them GO FOR IT

I am also doing chair covers too my venue chairs uncovered are awful!!!! That is a really good price I believe the chiavari chairs here run about $10 bucks a chair too... I feel either one you choose it will look great in your venue... GL... Oh I put a picture of our venue chairs with chair covers and sashes we are using upstairs and downstairs...

My venue comes with really ugly chairs, so we opted for chair covers for $3 each. We are probably going with white covers with pink and green sashes. From the pictures we have seen, the chair covers make the room look way better.

The chairs in our venue are dark grey and metal. I'm not crazy about them at all but I hate chair covers and sashes way more. We were quoted 3 a chair for the chiavari chairs in white so I'm pretty sure we are going that route. In the grand scheme of things the extra money is worth it to me because it really makes the room so much more beautiful. The chiavari chairs are really pretty, so I say if you can swing it in your budget, go for it. I really wanted chair covers because to me it just says "wedding", so my FI and I fit it into the budget. 5 bucks a chair is pretty reasonable. Do what makes your wedding reception feel right for you.
