meet and greet at Mandalay Bay??

I am not having a rehearsal dinner on Friday and some of our friends will be getting in that morning ... I was thinking of just doing an hour long meet and greet.  Most restuarants want two hours but I dont want to take up my guests evening.  Any suggestions?  I'd like to stay at mandalay bay ... or the luxor since they ae connected.

We are doing this but informally in our suite then we are taking a bus tour!  We are doing this becuase we have some guests who have never been to Vegas (specifically my step-daugther) and it is a great way to kick start the weekend! :)

we are doing a Double Decker Bus tour of the strip from 8-10pm. Cost is $135/hour with 2 hour min. We couldnt afford another hosted meal, but wanted to do something for all of our guests. This was the cheapest option, and Im really excited for the tour.

We're just inviting guests to join us for dinner at the Rio.  Our budget doesn't allow for any hosted meals other than our reception (we have over 60 guests coming), so we put the price of the buffet and a "join us if you wish" note on the guests' itinerary (see my bio below).  We don't want guests to feel obligated to come either.

Depending on your size room at the hotel you can host a meet and greet there.  We are also staying at MB and reserved a Vista Suite (for 30%) for Friday night.  We will be hosting our meet and greet in suite with food from either Jason's Deli or Masterpiece (depending on $, Jason's Deli is half the price) and supplying some drinks for about 30 people.

Like some of the other girls, we are also doing the DD bus before this said dinner because many of my guest have never been to LV and I want lots and lots of photos!

    Good Luck!

@klonny- we're doing the same thing with the Vista Suite Meet & Greet, but I'm not allowed to book until June 20th for my May 18th (2012) Meet & Greet.  Out of curiosity, how did you get the 30% off the Vista-- did you book it through the wedding department and that 30% was the bridal discount?

I think we are just going to do a non-hosted Meet & Greet at the Burger Bar in MB. I did inquire to see if we would be able to purchase a few bottles of wine for our group, but they haven't gotten back to me yet. Then just go to a bar in MB for a few drinks, there's a new irish bar we may check out.

We're going to the ice bar at MB on Friday night.  I figured it'd be a fun hour or so for everyone...including the non-club type crowd.  Then people could go do whatever they wanted after.

I simply booked it on their website when they were running a 30% off "suite special" back in March.  Keep your eyes open for lots of specials- "like" MB on Facebook and sign up for their text messages, and email list online and you'll be the first to know about specials!

Another great place to look at specials is http://www.smartervegas.com

We're staying at Mandalay Bay, and I got our 7 nights of hotel rooms much cheaper than our wedding coordiantor was able to offer us.
