So, what have you ladies decided to do about guests that haven't RSVP'd.?? FI and I are trying to figure this out. At first, we thought to only get as much chairs as the number of people that RSVP'd, but then that might leave one table with only like 2 chairs when it's supposed to seat 10. I don't wanna be rude and tell everyone to get out. Lol. What are you ladies doing.?? I suppose if we were having a buffet it wouldn't matter, but we're having a seated dinner, so they only make a certain number of plates.

    Im not likely going to have random's show up. Plus no one (who isn't invited) really knows my wedding date / venue / time, etc.  Im not too concerned about it.

    If guests do not RSVP, I am going to personally call them or have our wedding planner call just to confirm if they are coming or not. Just so we can be fully prepared.

    Agreed. We are having a buffet style, however I am not getting extra tables and chairs.

    Call those we haven't heard from and say, "Hi Suzy, we haven't received your RSVP card yet and need to turn in our final numbers to the venue by X date. If we don't hear from you by then I will mark you down as a 'no', and we sure will miss you!" USPS leaves something to be desired, and I wouldn't ever count on only including those whose RSVP cards got to me...for all I know they are lost in the mail! Or they are just being lazy, there's that, too.
