Groom's Attire, Favors & wedding rings

Hi ladies!!

I'm getting married next month and we haven't picked out what my fiance is going to wear yet! He likes the look of a white button up with light colored pants & a coat.

Any ideas of where we should go? I was hoping we would just be able to go to the mall and sort it out in one shopping trip a few days before! lol Any links, advice, whatever would be so much appreciated.

Also, I am a bit stuck for favors. We were thinking of doing those woven boxes (which I can't remember the name of) and putting pineapple shaped cookies inside. My wedding coordinator (Lori Lawrence) sells the boxes for $3 each -- does that seem reasonable?

And finally, we haven't sorted out the wedding rings yet. Any idea of how long it takes to get them sized? My fiance and I live in England (but I'm from California) and I haven't been able to find what I want here, so I was hoping to buy our rings in California. I'm just not sure 3 days will really be enough time to sort them out, though...

    I would NOT wait until 3 days before for the ring.  I have a few friend who it took months to get them.  The store kept messing up sizes and ordering the wrong rings, etc.  Get them asap!  Look online for stores in Cali and order now, pick it up when you're there.

    I don't know about the box pricing, hopefully someone else does!

    For the suit, we went to Menswear house.  They were fabulous!  Alterations are a week out though, so it's not a last min deal you can do.

    Agreed. Do not wait that long. It took me months to find something I was truly happy with, and each time I ordered something to "try" it took a few weeks to come in in my size. I would do it AT LEAST 2 months in advance... probably sooner.

    Some places can do sizing same day, but others need to send it out and it can take weeks. HTH!

    I ordered my ring a few weeks ago and it's not going to be ready until July 25. They take a while, especially if you need it sized down (with mine, I'm a size 4 and they said they can't size it down, they had to make the ring in my size to begin with in order to prevent the diamonds from falling out...or something like that)

    We got my FI a beige colored suit at jcpenney on clearance, took us an hour and we got lucky it all fit him fine.

    I think they are called Lauhala boxes but I don't know anything about them, we're giving welcome(oot) bags instead of favors.
