  3. Do you like FI's last name? Are you "taking" it? It's okay, but it sounds weird with my first name.  I am taking it because it is WAY easier for people to pronounce then my last name.  I definitely won't have to spell it for anyone.
  4. Where were you born (city/state)?  Goleta, CA
  5. Where do you live currently? (city and/or state)?  Lawrence, KS
  6. Where did you go to college?  UC Santa Barbara for BA and KU for MA
  7. Do you root for any college/professional teams?  I root for KU and for the LA Lakers
  8. What was your major?  History and Russian
  9. What is your current job?  academic advisor
  10. What is your dream job?  Working for a human rights group in Russia
  11. How did you and your fiance meet?  I was his mother's assistant and she set us up.  I so did not want to go out with him because I hate blind dates!
  12. When did you get engaged and how did he do it??  We got engaged 4/13/2009 on our second anniversary.  He wrote a poem with all the things he loves about me and asking me to marry him.  It was pretty sweet. : )
  13. When is the Wedding Day? Is there a special reason for this date?  October 2, 2010.  Nope, we just needed a date when  there wasn't a KU football game at home.
  14. Where is the ceremony and reception?  Ceremony-Danforth Chapel at KU, Reception-Lawrence Visitor's Center
  15. What are your wedding colors? Sage and Ivory
  16. Where are you honeymooning? No honeymoon for us : (
  17. Favorite wedding vendor so far?  Photographer (JK Photography), she is super sweet and so easy to work with.
  18. Biggest wedding splurge?  My dress, FI's grandma was supposed to make it but I ended up buying one I loved instead.  It kind of messed up the budget, but it was worth it.
  19. What is something you wish you could have at the wedding but don't?  All my family from California!  Only a few of my family members are coming and it makes me sad that more can't come.
  20. Is there another knottie's wedding you'd like to attend?  Hmmm, maybe Chrissy's just so I could see her dress in person.  It's gorgeous and so unique!
  21. Favorite book?  We the Living
  22. Favorite movie?  Love, Actually
  23. Favorite tv show?  Glee!  I am so addicted to it!!
  24. Favorite wedding dress designer?  Lazaro
  25. Any advice you can give?  Don't let your family bully you into something you don't want.
  26. Anything you wish you could change about your wedding?  Nope.

  ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK!!!! We're also getting married at the daforth, just not till May... I wanted to make sure it was well after march madness... haha!!!
