....hair stylist. I feel REALLY bad because she moved her school finals around and she's a close friend of one of my BMs, but here's what happened.....
So I went on Friday for my final trial, and I get there and she tells me she has bad news. The second stylist she was going to bring with her isn't going to be able to make it....of course my heart sank and I started freaking out and texting all my BMs and DOC. So we did the trial anyway, and it was good and whatnot. So she's not making any kind of effort to find a replacement, and she's not that experienced so there's no way she could do 8 girls alone in a reasonable amout of time. So now my FSIL gave me her stylist's contact info and I touched base with her today. She's got 17 years of experience, made time for me this week to come and do a trial and meet with her, and said she could do all 8 girls in 4-5 hours no problem (she even said a few weeks ago she had another cancellation with 8 girls and she did them all with updos in 4 hours!!). So anyway....assuming that it's going to work out with her, and God willing it does, I'm going to have to literally fire the other girl.
Has anyone else had to do this? I feel really bad because of the personal relationship I have with her, but if she can't do everyone on her own and isn't tryin to find a replacement I feel like I don't have a choice. Any advice on how to handle this would be mucho appreciated!
