Cocoa Beach - Small Reception

Hello,

I am hopefully getting married right on Cocoa beach, my aunt lives on the beach and its a great location for my family. I am only semi-familiar with the area and I am looking for a restaurant for a nice reception after for 50 people. No dancing or anything like that is needed just drinks and a good time for everyone to have fun. Some of us will be cruising together afterwards so I am not super worried about having a big formal reception.

Somewhere very close would be important as 1/2 the people there will be from out of town. It's really hard for me to get started but I will be going there over the summer to check some places out.

Thank you in advance!

  • I would check with Millikens Reef. They have a good ambiance & they also have a private room. You could also check with Grills. The only problem with Grills is that they don't have a private room, but they also play live music & a good ambiance. HTH

  • Nice suggestions!
I've actually been to grills. I think I am looking for something just a bit more formal than grills or Millikens though. The Chart House looks like it could be a pick but is too far away (40 min drive) from the ceremony location.
I think I will go to Millikens though on my trip and check it out anyways. I like the idea of somewhere that we can all have drinks after for those who want to keep on partying.
