Is it just me?? I gave up candy for Lent, but man, am I finding loopholes!

guilty pleasure of choice: poptarts...

FI and I have vowed to give up sweets pre-wedding starting in April...after I indulge in some Peeps on Easter of course...but they are my go-to stress reliever!

  • I get it. We have donuts and I want to eat them all. Between the wedding planning and my crappy day... I want the whole box!

  • I bought some at the store for FI and I because theu were on sale. I told myself it was okay because it was on SALE. But now I feel so bad and keep telling myself I don't need it but I just can't help it. They made Reese's Eggs for a reason!
  • My FI is the one that has more of a sweet tooth. Though, I do too. That makes it hard for me to resist. When I lived alone, I managed to keep my cupboard free of Little Debbie snacks and the other sweet things. Now that we live together, Swiss Cake Rolls, Nutty Bars and Zebra cakes are constantly in the cabinet. I'm a sucker for the Swiss Cake Rolls. Not too mention there's the cookie drumsticks in the freezer. Needless to say, watching the calories/dieting has been hard.
  • I've been wanting ice cream every night for the last couple of nights :( I've decided that since there are 61 days left until the wedding that I'm going to actually finish doing Insanity! FI and I started tonight (wanted to die) and we are going to stick to it this time!!! 2 months to go :):):)

  • I have a HUGE sweet tooth. So bad. FI will indulge occasionally, but I am way worse than him.
    I LOVE POPTARTS TOO! Haha I always feel like a kid when I buy them. I am also a sucker for sour patch kids.

  • Oh man...don't even talk to me about sweets! I just bought one of the "big" cookies my work cafeteria sells. The darn thing is about 450 calories and I ate it all! Along with junk food when I got home from work! I always slip at the beginning of the week when I'm most stressed and tired...do better tomorrow!
