Please help me with my frizzy hair!

Can anyone can reccomend any great products/ shampoo and conditioner to fight frizz. I have naturally wavy/curly hair that I usually blow dry straight. I am really sick of this :(
TIA!

I use pantene shampoo & conditioner for curly hair.  They have versions that are supposed to help w/ straight.  I'd go to Walgreens or Target and look around, I know there are some anti-friz sprays.

IMO, the best thing you can do is not dry your hair 100% and let it airdry at the end.  Or, if I get friz while drying, I spray water (like a mist) over my hair at the end and it controls the friz...but this only works if you're wearing it wavy/curly, not if you want it to be straight.

I think my hair is probably similar to yours, I usually wash, blowdry, and straighten it ever-other day. I have found that because it is so thick I don't need to shampoo it every day and it helps to not dry it out as much. I am a huge fan of Bumble and Bumble products to help with frizziness (I have a frizz phobia), I use: "prep", "straight", and "sumo tech".

Ditto this - it's actually not healthy to wash your hair every day and I think it can help with friz.  FYI I've heard when people try to switch from washing every day to every other day, their hair feels oily at first, but I think your scalp adjusts and it gets better. (I've pretty much always washed it every other day since I can remember so I've never had this problem)

I'm curious what other people have to say though about products because I'm always in search of anti-friz stuff!

If you want a more "permanent" solution, you could look into thermal reconditioning or magic straight, which is the Asian hair straightening technique that lasts for about 6 months to a year. At first the hair is really flat against your scalp, but after a few weeks, the volume returns without the frizz.

It's a little pricey, depending on where you get it done, but it might solve the frizz problem for a little while.

I've had it done to my hair from theage of 18 until 27, and it's only recently that my hair has been much more manageable. I've also done this Asian (I think) technique called a digital perm which adds a very natural wave, curl, and bounce to your hair. (The first time I did it, I did it a week after thermal reconditioning my hair, so it was incredibly silken, but wavy.) Despite all this, my hair is astonishingly healthy according to my current stylist.

Do you use any sort of oil? My hair doesn't really get frizzy, but I do get flyaways sometimes after blow-drying so I use biosilk or something similar on the ends. Works well for me.

Melissa- I went yesterday and got Matrix "sleek" shampoo and conditioner and some serum to help with the frizziness. I can't wait to try it!

I got my hair thermally straightened at Gene Juarez last year (in September), and it's been about 6 months, and i  still don't have to blow dry  or straight iron my hair!  My hair was totally weird before, kind of wavy in some places, and kind of straight in some, so i would either flat iron it everyday or try to scrunch it up to make it somewhat curlier!  The thermal straightening has been the best thing ever!
