Alfred Angelo Bridal in Glen burnie

Do not order anything from this store!!! Their sales associates do not know how to measure correctly and their store manager is not helpful at all. I love my dress, its beautiful, but I wish I could have found it somewhere else. The person who took my measurements obviuolsly
didn't know what they were doing and she suggested that I order a size 14 wedding dress. since this was my first time getting my measurements done, I assumed she knew what she was doing and went with the size she suggested. Big mistake!! My dress was about 2-3 sizes too big and as a result of Alfred Angelo messing up, my alteration costs are very expensive now. Even my seamstress stated that they had to take my measurements wrong because it was 2-3 inches of material left on the sides of my dress after she put the pins in to begin the alterations. And when I called back to complain with the store manager, she basically said that you should have known what your correct measurements are and its not our fault. The whole experience with Alfred Angelo in Glen Burnie has left a bad taste in my mouth and I know when my bridesmaids go pick up their dress, their sizes will be screwed up too. Wish I would have never gone there, beware!!!!

    aw man you're kidding me! Thats AWFUL! I ordered my dress there as well. I'm supposed to go pick it up this week...I'll let you know how it goes Embarassed

    I had an appointment and had to wait 20+mins to been seen. And no one was even in there.

    I found a local shop in Rosedale that can order Alfred dresses. Thanks goodness!

    I hope your dress turns out ok.

    I would look for a 800 number and give them a piece of your mind.

    I had such an awful experience with this place too!  I called them twice to set up an appointment to look at dresses and never received a call back, than I made an online appointment request, someone called me and left me a message and I literally called them back 2 minutes later and it went to an answering machine, I left a message again (this was two months ago) and have yet to get a response, so I said screw this place and went to Bridals by Elena and Severna Park and found the ONE! =) 

    Totally sucks that they screwed up your dress but Im glad your getting the warning out! Im sure your seamstress will make it work!  Im pretty sure there is a alfred angelo in Columbia and in Gathersburg and I would suggest ladies that want an AF Angelo dress go to one of there other stores !

    So far I've had a good experience with them. They've picked up the phone everytime I've called (except from work because work has a blocked number). I was helped right away and my consultant, Samantha was great. I don't have my dress yet, so I'll let you know how that goes!

    I too got mine there and dealt with Samantha. I think she is pretty much the only good one in that store. I would recommend going to her if you go there. I had good experiences there when i went. I went one time to see her and she was with another customer and made sure another associate helped me since she couldnt.

    It's funny to hear everyone's complaints about AA in GB. I ordered my dress there and they originally rang it up incorrectly. They deleted the order right away and re-rang the dress up w/ my discount. Cut to 3 months later when they call and tell me my dress is ready. I pick it up, love it, take it home. One week later, ANOTHER call instructing me to pick up my dress. I called and spoke to 3 different people to explain that I already had my dress....Bottom line - They insisted I come pick up the second/duplicate dress, and they even admitted it was free to me because it "must have been a duplicate order by mistake." Bizarre. Guess it must be pretty chaotic there....

    That place is horrible and the people are rude!!! I would not recommend going there!
