Sep 29 brides......1 month!

It seems so weird! And I think I also get throw because some of our Knottie friends on this board are getting married in 3 days and we *still* have a month. Sometimes it seems long...mainly it doesn't haha. How are you feeling on your planning? I feel like most things are done. My main concern is the 68 RSVPs we are missing with a due date of Saturday and in direct relation to that, what the final cost of this wedding will be! Those 68 people make a large difference in the final bill and money is my main concern. I feel like things are under control and on track otherwise. Still some small details but we just moved into our house this week and are trying to move so I'm kinda over stressing over the wedding.

Aaah! I have so much to do.. I'm juggling work, my kids, and mourning the loss of my cousin, it's really making wedding planning rough. FI is no help, except to shoot down all my ideas! Men. Lol. Most of my major stuff is done, but need lots of little things. Most of my DIY is complete, since we recently ditched favors, doing a private donation, that helps. But man I feel behind!

I can't believe it! I still have some rsvp's that haven't responded yet.I hope the weeks fly by so it can be our wedding day I am tired of waiting! LOL Congratulations to all the September brides!

Unbelievable that we only have 1 month less and many brides here are mere days away! How on earth did this happen already?! I updated my to-do list yesterday and while I am making major progress, I still feel like there alot of little things to complete that are proving to be time consuming (menu cards, escort cards, program cover, not to mention tracking down RSVPs, and seating chart). All of these things are in the works, I just need one more big push to get them done. Also, my planning is getting complicated by Hurricane Isaac. I'm having a DW in New Orleans and I haven't been able to communicate with any vendors, etc. there at all this week and probably won't for several more days at least. I was all set to start shipping my planner all the centerpieces, toasting glasses, etc. but now I have to wait until next week. I'm praying that everyone there is safe.

Ahh I was just hoping no one was planning on having their wedding in Hurricane Isaac's path this weekend but I understand how that could hold you up and cause some stress. I hope everyone stays safe and your venue, hotels, etc are unharmed!

1 month and I'm soooooo ready (not like physically but mentally)! I'm soo excited I can hardly stand it! I'm ready for everything to be over and ready to be on the beach for my honeymoon!

I cannot believe we're at the one month mark. This summer went by SO fast! I have lots and lots of stuff still on my to-do list. I've even had a couple wedding-related dreams about not having anything done the morning of. FI really wants to help but half the time I can't even keep track of everything. It's funny because he'll ask what's left, and I totally blank out because they're just the little stuff left.

I'm excited to be only a month away but also a little panicky. There's SO much I still have to do. FI wonderfully didn't book us a hotel room for our wedding night, and when he finally decided to today EVERYTHING was booked! So we're having to travel a half hour away to Wisconsin to find a room. I'm a little pissed, but at least we found something.

Our RSVP's aren't due until the 8th, so I feel like I'm playing a waiting game for a lot of things. I hope they flood in this next week, cause we're still missing a LOT. Many of them are ones that could go either way.

Hi ladies,

I haven't been active on these boards, but now that the wedding's a month away, I'm feeling a strong need to connect!

Anyone else having stress hives? It's been going on for weeks. I'm trying to distract myself, but there are so many details, I feel like I can never stop thinking about everything that needs to be done.

We're doing our walkthrough and menu selection tomorrow - and applying for our license! So I know I should just be excited, but my body is in full panic mode!

I can't believe we're at the 30 day mark! How did this happen??? I'm ready to be a Mrs.'s but not ready for the big day. I feel like there is a lot of little things still left to do and I don't know where to start!

In good news, FI and I just found out that our application got approved for our first home!!!! We will be renting a 2 bed, 2 bath duplex with a 1 car garage. The best news of all is that it is a brand new building and we will be the first ones to live in it! I am so ready to become a domestic diva! I can't wait to turn the house into a home!!!!
