Monday Check in!

How was everyone's weekend? Get anything completed WR/NWR?

--

WR: We had a busy weekend!

I did the centerpiece mock ups & got them all bagged up & ready for the big day! I absolutely love how they turned out!

Eveything in the tote ready to go!

After that, we decided to get a head start on the favor boxes & assembled them. Picked up the peanuts & now, we're just waiting for the candy corn to get here & we can make those up!

All 250 ish boxes!

This is how we spend our Saturday night... I know your jealous! Wink

Also ran to Litin, to pick up a few more things for the wedding & decided what we're going to do for the table skirting... Burlap! = )

NWR: Went to my nieces 2nd birthday party which was a blast & finished my book.

I need another weekend from my weekend... I'm tired! And this week is jam packed with meetings & appointments... Agh, we're getting so close!! = )

The centerpieces look really nice, Andi. :)

I actually was really good about getting some WR things done this weekend, finally. I booked our DJ and Photographer, which was great and such a relief to finally have done. We met with the photog on Sunday and clicked right away, he is awesome. I can't wait to work with him at the wedding, I can tell he does a great job. My mom and I also ordered some samples of table and chair linens to see what we liked best. We also made a tentative wedding day timeline. So a pretty accomplished weekend for me.

Last minute insanity. Flying to MN tomorrow to get married on Sat!

This means packing for MN and honeymoon, cleaning the house for the cat sitters. figuring out when people are getting there who we're seeing when. Having my iPod break and getting a new one. Having my cat get a UTI and get her seen by the vet and started on meds. finding a cat sitter to come and give the cat meds. having a break down because i'm leaving my "babies" for 2 weeks and can't leave one while she's sick. massive amounts of dry cleaning, laundry. Talking to mom and coordinating last minute things. and trying to wrap all the last stuff and still sleep.

In retrospect, I should have taken this whole week off of work. my concentration is non-existent

    Thanks Musu! = )

    Wow... I'm exhausted reading that!

This is why I'm taking off the week of the wedding... I know I would be hopeless at work! Hell, I'm pretty hopeless now, & we're 32 days out! = )

Everything will go great for you... Many deep breathes!

You can never have too much burlap :)

WR: Sorta... finally got the name changed on my driver's license! As far as I know, we had never received the certified marriage license from Hennepin County... only the ones from our church! They had supposedly sent us copies 2 weeks after the wedding, but I don't think we ever got them and they said that they were never sent back. Oh well... they sent me one extra free one, so I was able to use that to get my license name changed. Oddly, I was able to get my SS card and bank account info changed with only the church copies?

NWR: Finally had time at home not spent running around to tackle cleaning our office! DH built me a new computer and we finished transferring all my old files over to the new one... it was nice to be able to go through and purge a lot of junk. I'm having a hard time deleting all the wedding inspiration images, though... they're so pretty. Also went to a family reunion on DH's side and a family friend's Tupperware bridal shower... that stuff is a rip off!

WR: Not really anything other than hung out with a good majority of the bridal party on FI's side. We went up to his hometown for their town festival. I think 5 of his 7 groomsmen were there, plus one of my bridesmaids, and his parents. Fun weekend!

NWR: We met our puppy!! We rescued a boxer through the MN Boxer Rescue and he came up from Georgia this weekend. He has "kennel cough" so has to be away from other dogs for a few days, but he is just too cute. He will be staying with a foster mom for 2 weeks in order for us to get our home ready for him. Look at Jett: We love him!

Wow all of you ladies had busy weekends!! :)

WR - met up with the FIL in Wisconsin and ironed out some details. Also went to a "paint-yourself-silly" sort of place (anyone else remember that place in Minnetonka? so fun...) It was FI's idea to paint and fire some pots to be used for our sand ceremony. I'm loving it. Here we are making them. They have our date on them and our initials - After the ceremony we will be hanging them on our wall as a keepsake. :) that's about it though for WR.

NWR - started packing for VEGAS this Thursday - Sunday. Getting excited. Anxious for a vacation.

p.s...... another NWR - Having my first wax today. Super nervous. Ugh. The things we do..... :)

WR: Ordered my camouflage garter for FI this weekend. I also ordered out personalized wooden signs and I found a great deal on a little white dress, so I ordered it thinking I could wear it for my bach party. AND two of my BM's picked up their dresses!! This was the first time I've seen the dress in the color, and I looooove it!

NWR: I had a great weekend of celebrating my birthday!!

WR: Received our flower girl dress in the mail form the same ETSY seller that fellow knottie 'FutureMrsSheeler' used. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT and I can't wait to see our lil' 1 year old god child in it :)

NWR: Attended a bach party for on of my good friends. Started stripping the deck to restain it. Replaced all the cabinet handles in the kitchen from the awful gold to a nice antique bronze.

Hope you all had a great weekend :)

WR: Picked up some more pink votives from another knottie. Started making my BM's jewelry. I also got a few parts to their BM's gifts, which I am so excited about! And I picked up FutureMrsSheelers B<'s dress for her wedding! It is so pretty!!

NWR: I went to the Saints game Friday night! So much fun. Then I spent time with my family and a good girlfriend of mine. Saturday I spent downtown with some good friends. :) Then Sunday was my great gandma's 93rd birthday party. It was really nice to see so many people from my mom's side of the familly.
