Limo Prices

Is anyone frustrated how limo companies jack up the prices just because it's a wedding? I don't need a red carpet because I'm getting married and having the reception at the same place. I don't need champagne and I certainly don't need them to hold my train, that's what the MOH is for. So my question for everyone is, when you called around for prices did you tell them you need a limo for a wedding or for an event? Because the price difference is very significant. Thanks girls!

I used First Class Limos, and I got a price that's lower than their regular hourly rate posted on the website.  I mentioned it was wedding, but I may have gotten a discount because they're preferred vendors for the hotel I used for room blocking AND at my reception venue.  My wedding is also a Sunday.

I haven't tried to book any limos yet, so I can't say from experience, but it might be a good idea to try calling limo companies that tend to work with more corporate clients, rather than weddings. They shouldn't be as busy for a night-time wedding and probably just offer the basics. That is what I plan to do.

Do you know which limo companies deal with more corporate clients? All the limo companies that I have looked at do more of the proms/weddings.

we ran in to the same problem! our ceremony and reception are at the same place, and i basically only needed a limo to one place with out a 3 hr minimum - we wound up using Leggs Limosines - they're out of medford but they gave us an amazing price almost a couple hundred dollars under other companies we called in the area!

I'm contemplating on not telling the companies that it's for a wedding because the price is so much cheaper. Do you guys think it's a bad idea?

I don't think that is a bad idea but they will probably ask you what your event is and then what will you say? I think it would be great if you could just leave that information out but i think it would be weird to lie.

We only need a limo to take us from the house to the ceremony location because the ceremony and reception are at the same place.  Alberts Limo is the only one that will do that, that I have found so far.  $150 for a 6-7 person limo and $200 for a 8-9 person.  Their number is 856-222-9600,
