H and I are headed to the Smokies for our 2 year anniversary in July. We are still trying to narrow down a cabin, though. Any suggestions?
Our must haves are: mountain view, hot tub (preferably outside), full kitchen (which most have), WiFi and a nice deck area since we'll spend a lot of time outdoors.
For budget, we'd like to keep it under $170/night.
There are just so many cabin rental companies, it is a little overwhelming. We have looked on Trip Advisor but many get good reviews and we'd also be interested in hearing what specific cabins within a company you have stayed at and liked.
Also, what are some "must do's" for Gatlinburg? We would be interested in outdoor stuff, like hiking in the national park or renting bikes. We are not big on water sports like white water rafting, though. We would probably be there either 3 or 4 nights.
Also, I will probably make a separate post in the future, but if any of you have also been to Nashville, we are thinking of spending a night there on the way home. Any ideas for reasonably priced hotels? Do you think one day (24 hours) there is enough, or should we spend one less day in the Smokies and add a day to Nasvhille?
Thanks
