BP services on Wedding day

It gets really slow on here. Im gonna try and find stuff for us to discuss.lol

Hey ladies just wondering, How many ladies in your bridal party? and Are you providing day of services for them ( hair ,makeup, spa, mani pedi, etc.) I know a lot of people do it as a gift. Are there any things that you have required of them as far as type of shoes, tattoo covering, hairstyles, nail color,etc.

I have 7 ladies,possibly 8. I'm not sure if i'll be providing makeup and stuff yet. Some of my friends are picky. I was thinking about maybe just a makeup artist for all of us.That may be fun bonding time. My venue has a spa package but only for 3 people. As far as dressing them, I'd like everybody to showcase their own personality. So im thinking about the convertable dresses and let them pick their own jewelry and shoes. ( ill just check them ahead of time to make sure its not tacky). I think i'll probably get it together a little more as time passes and as I find the dresses and start putting thing together.

    I have 2 ladies in my bridal party. I'm not having any day of services because we're getting our hair done the day before and we're going to do our own makeup.

    I haven't required anything of them. I picked two different dresses that we could all agree on, and I'm letting them pick out shoes and I'm giving them their jewelry as part of their gift and that's about it.

    I have 3 if you count the FG.  I'm not paying anything for them because I'm not requiring anything specific.  They can do thei rown hair and makeup, I really don't mind.  They picked their own dresses and they'll accessorize the way they want.  I'm a really easy-going bride!  I figure I'll worry about my own attire, they can worry about theirs.

    I had 4 girls, 1 JBM, and 1 FG. I didn't require anything specific so I didn't pay for hair of make up on the day of. Plus, if you require a specific thing from them, then you really should pay for it. That's not really a gift IMO. For the dresses, I only picked out the color, and they each chose the style they liked. I found shoes that matched all the dresses(on a very good sale), and they all liked so I purchased it for them.

    I took the girls to the spa the day before and we had manis/pedis. We all loved it. Then at the RD, I gave them mini tote bags with goodies inside like bath&body stuff, jewelry, nail care, etc. I gave my MOH and JBM(they're my sisters) extra things like personalized snow globes and books. I gave my FG a flower girl frame and flower girl camera. They all loved their gifts when they opened them!

    I have 5 bridemaids, and I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going pay for. I was thinking of picking up the bill for mani/pedis the day before, but as for hair and makeup, I think I'm only going to pay for me and my mom b/c I want airbrush. My BMs will just do their own makeup/hair...they like to do eachother's hair. We havent picked dresses yet, but I'm just going to require a certain color and making sure they order at the same time so that all the dresses are cut from the same fabric. Other than that, I'll let them choose the style, their shoes, and accessories. With 2 of the girls in the fashion industry, I know they wont let any of the girls look a hot mess! =P

    I was paying for beauty day the day before the wedding...consisting of hair, make-up, mani and pedi, facial and massage.  I was going to reserve a spa in Center City just for my girls.  Have lunch brought in and give out the gifts...but... 

    ...my girls are getting on my nerves...

    I had 3 originally...then it went to 5...now its 1...OMG!  So now, since FI is from the west coast and has no friends here anyway, that will be my excuse to not have any BMs...just me and him--simplify!!!  All my girls are somewhere else anyway... Atlanta, Charlotte, Myrtle Beach, New York, Delaware...etc...

    Maybe they will get it together...Undecided

    I have six BM and will be providing make up for all of them and tattoo covering for all of them (optional). I may also pay for mani/pedis. I have to see how my budget goes... As far as dresses, I will pick the color but the style is up to them.
