Mini-moon on East Coast

Hi I am getting married in November and cant go on our Hawaii honeymoon til December because I am a teacher. We want to go somewhere close to NJ, for four days, about $1k -1,500 total. We love the beach, wineries, bars, casinos, etc. 
Thinking FLorida Keys, Chicago (I know not really on east coast), maybe even more local like Philadelphia. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

    The Cape is amazing!  Went there on vacation two summers ago.  There are TONS of amazing restaurants, shops and sights.  I do know it's alot busier/more stuff to do with festivals and such in the summer but I'm sure you'll get way better rates if you're going in November when it's the more off season.
